On May 24, 2022, Marshmallow Minds and the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory (SFBBO) received a $54,880 grant from The Santa Clara Valley Water District in support of our “Safe Birds, Safe Waters” environmental STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Math) education and outreach program aimed at protecting birds, restoring local wetlands as an adaptation to climate change, and educating traditionally underserved populations of students about bird science, technology, and conservation.
